The Park offers an unique combination of a zoological garden and a theme park. You can discover a whole new world on the trail of the great adventurers and the animal inhabitants of the Serengeti Park! On an area of 120 hectares you will find, among others, lions, tigers, rhinos and antelopes.
Serengeti Safari
You can marvel at a large number of wild and exotic animals from different countries in the Serengeti Safari. On the ten kilometre long trip you will encounter lions, tigers, rhinos, antelopes, elephants and other animals either with an experienced safari guide on the bus or in your own car.
Jungle Safari
The jungle safari, the new island area for monkeys, gives you the chance to watch about 200 primates without cage barriers. You have the chance, to get in direct contact with the monkeys in the five walk-in compounds.
Adventure Safari
In the Adventure Safari, the theme park, you will find over 40 spectular rides and stunning shows for childrens and adults.

Serengeti-Park resort: holidays like in africa
At the Serengeti Park resort you can spend the night close to the exotic animals. The adventure safari stays open for overnight
guests until dusk. There are five types of accommodation available directly in the resort:
the Safari Lodges have room for up to five people, the huts on the Masai
Mara site have room for up to three people. Comfortable Tent Lodge at
the lake Victoria, centrally located Adventure Lodges and mobile Ranger
Lodges you can sleep directly among wild animals. New: Jungle Lodges!

By car:
You will find the Serengeti Park on the southern edge of Lüneburg Heath, in the middle of Lower Saxony. Hamburg, Hanover and Bremen are barely an hour’s drive away. From the motorway exit "Westenholz" it only takes you 3 minutes to our gates.
If you’re planning to visit us by train go to Hodenhagen train station. There is a signposted footpath or you can just call a cab.
