Café Kalandstube
Homemade cakes entice visitors to the Café Kalandstube in the Kalandhof. Since 2005, the half-timbered building has been located on the museum farm of the Winser Heimatverein in the Lüneburg Heath near the village's historic trestle windmill. Built after a fire in 1781, the two-stall building now houses a family-friendly café with seating for around 50 people, a play corner for the little ones, a baby changing room and a barrier-free toilet. In an adjoining building, the Rökerkamer can accommodate around 20 people for meetings or small celebrations.
In summer, the idyllic terrace with seating for around 80 people and a play area invites you to soak up the sun. Sufficient car and bicycle parking spaces are available. There are plans to install a charging station for e-bikes.
